Why do people believe the earth is flat?

I find it really dumb that thier is people that believe the world is flat. I think they are stating this because they want peoples attention and get noticed. I wonder what thoughts do they have that the world is flat

With the money the government is providing us with i think it wouldn't really be used to pay off the essentials you need. I think people are going to spend it all on useless things. But when do we get this check? I am at the age of 18 and have a job but i haven't seem to have recieved a check of ant kind. I think they should of passed a law where they hold your rent in hold .
